| Founded in 1913, by Mr. F.E. Scobey, Director of the United
States Mint, Scobey Moving & Storage opened the doors of
what would become the largest, most reputable moving company
in the city of San Antonio. At its inception, the company utilized
a four-story fireproof warehouse, six wagons and twelve horses. |

| Today, our fleet of more than 50 tractor trailer units travels
the continental United States along with a support staff of
more than 150 employees, serving the needs of our valued clients

Scobey
Moving & Storage can be truly proud of its growth and the impetus
with which its people have been permitted to grow. Horse drawn wagons
no longer rumble through San Antonio streets; they have been long
since replaced by tractor trailers with the power of four hundred
horses, all under one cab. Expressways and highways now carry Scobey
vans not only throughout San Antonio, but all over this great country.
The one thing that has not changed, however, is the philosophy ingrained
into Scobey Moving & Storage by its founder, Mr. F.E. Scobey:
"We will carry on a business of integrity, giving service to
the community and employing people of intelligence and high moral
character." More than nine decades later, the Scobey philosophy
remains the same, and as San Antonio continues to grow, Scobey Moving
& Storage will expand to meet the needs of this prosperous and
growing community. |
